Techno-Strike is a modified version of the popular Counter-Strike 1.6 Warzone, that makes it a more modern and crisp game. It is NOT meant to replace CS 1.6 in any way, it is made just as an alternative to it. It uses the weapon models from Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, and it uses its sounds too. This version of Techno-Strike adds 2 new weapons: An M60 Machine gun (replaces m249) and SPAS-12 Shotgun (replaces m3 shotgun), and also replaces a lot of weapon sounds too!

Same set using a different recoil model (more realistic). You can also switch to the old one: d_recoilmodel 1, d_spreadmodel 1 (it was in reverse before this patch).

The loadout is now stored per map. Can adjust starting money (mp_startmoney_t, mp_startmoney_ct; put it to your server config). Can choose prev/next fire modes (was only next). Some minor tweaks to the gun recoil (cuts more at the top right now, so it doesn't kick the barrel too high). Also the spread is non-linear again (can switch back using d_spreadmodel 1 - a round must be restarted to take effect).

Counter-Strike 1.6 ReTrO Edition is a custom version of CS 1.6 that uses the weapon models from cs 1.0/1.5 (same for the player models). If you feel like playing those versions, but want to play online, you should give this a try. Since it is 1.6 at its core, you can play on all of your favourite servers.

Animiks is a program for animating skeletal models. Files from Half-Life and the like. The types of processed files are * .smd, decompiled * .mdl. Animiks was conceived as an addition to the MilkShape program, to simplify animation, but it can be used independently. In MilkShape, it’s quite convenient to snap the skeleton to the model points, but animating and working with frames is extremely inconvenient.

I just reenabled everything what was disabled in the beta release. All weapons. Player id (hilite). CS1.6 compatibility (maps) was also improved a bit. "bot_skill" cvar (0..100) -- should be used before adding the bots.
